Bobelock 1047 Wooden Half Moon Violin Case Grey Velvet

Bobelock is pretty much the best deal for a decent quality case these days. This one has a lot of things to recommend it, but my favorite feature is the pocket protecting the most vulnerable part of the fiddle: the end button end. It's a little more compact, and the abbreviated shape makes it tougher, but it's not so small that you can't put your shoulder rest in there, which is what bothers me about the shaped cases. Pretty ideal, with a place for the shoulder rest, and a generous suspension feature. Room for 2 bows.... that's fine. How many do you need on a gig anyway? 2 is the correct answer. It's a decent pro case for a decent price.

It’s a fantastic case. One thing is when you open it the first time it’s going to shut so push the lid backwards so it’ll stay open when you’re unpacking.

Other than that (you can fix the problem in seconds) it’s a fantastic case. It has great suspension and a roomy pocket that holds my shoulder rest and other accessories.
