    Gewa Idea Futura Cello Case Black

    The Gewa Idea Futura Cello Cases are made of fiberglass. Fiberglass mats are infused with resin and molded with Gewa's process during case creation, giving the case excellent shock resistance and great insulation qualities. These cases are also made light and easy to carry. They weigh a little over 10 lbs. Which is much lighter than your standard fiberglass cello case.

    Perfect for 7/8 with optional pads

    Using for 7/8 cello with the additional pads, separate purchase. Perfect fit. Case closes securely. Shoulder straps are easy to adjust. One latch has a loop where a small lock can be used.

    a fabulous case

    Maybe not for everyone, it has an actual leather strap and buckle for the neck...but it is so well built, a joy to carry, so protective and sturdy. And remarkably light weight. I do not like using the moveable pads that are on a lot of new cases, they so often get caught or move sideways, and i also do enjoy more integral padding in the case body itself. I had a Gewa about thirty years ago, i do not know why i waited so long for another! My beloved cello is awesomely protected in this case. Plus it is nice to look at...i am extremely happy.
