    Nice slim case

I like this case because it is slim and lighter than my old case. The zippered container inside opens up so you can see everything inside. The backpack feature was a must for me. I’d just say that the straps are typically thin so I replaced them with the more cushiony straps from my old case.

I chose this case for the brand (I also have a Gewa viola case), and for its slimmer profile. It’s not too heavy, and has a comfortable handle. The 4 bow spinners seem solid, and turn and lock firmly. Exterior & interior materials are good quality, and the removable accessory pouch is not too large but still big enough for essentials. There are no latches on this case, and the lid is held closed only by the two zippers along each side of the top and a large velcro tab at the handle. The only things to possibly dislike is that the accessory pouch is not large enough to hold a Kun-style shoulder rest, and the zippered music pouch on the cover is too small to be zipped closed while holding a standard orchestra folder. There is room inside the case at the scroll end for a Kun-style shoulder rest, but some means of securing it would be needed. Overall, this is a nice case, and I can recommend it.
