    A Scratch-Resistant, Light, & Protective Violin Case

The Gewa Pure violin case is a game changer in the world of instrument protection! It's difficult to find a case that is protective, durable, light, stylish, and temperature-resistant. And on top of all that - affordable!

What makes this possible are the polycarbonate shells. Polycarbonate is one of the strongest plastics you'll find. It's used to make shatterproof glass. And because it is a type of plastic, it doesn't heat up under the sun like many metallic cases do. Plastic is also a more affordable material compared to metallic cases like carbon fiber.

The case features an adjustable neck support to fit 3/4 and 4/4 violins. It's hard to find a protective and durable 3/4 violin case, because the cost of the case is often more than the 3/4 violin. But with the Gewa Pure cases, you can use the same protective case even as you transition into a full size violin.

Plus the case only weighs 4 lb. With all these features at an affordable price, it's no surprise that these cases are quickly becoming popular among student and professional violinists.

    Great value and lightweight!

Loving my new violin case which I am mainly using for teaching Elementary lessons. It's very lightweight and also fits two bows and shoulder rest. The backpack straps are really comfortable too!

    the perfect lightweight case

for the price i was surprised with how perfect it is ! it’s very light and doesn’t hurt to carry around like my old wooden block case… the backpack straps are so comfy and easy to carry as well. it could only really fit my boveda and collapsible kun shoulder rest but that’s pretty much all i need. you can put extra strings underneath the body of the instrument. the case is a tight and secure fit for the violin. the handle to carry the case is soooo nice like it has little ridges/ indents that makes it so comfy to carry around. the only weird thing about this case that i’m not used to is that when it closes there’s no latch to open it back up so i use the ridge of one of the lock things to open it up. i am sooo glad i bought this case!!!!! honestly i haven’t tried the gewa air but i feel like they’re so similar you might as well just buy this oneeeee 😊😊

    Great case!

I did lots of research on the contour hard cases and found this to be the best bang for your buck. After receiving the case, it was actually even better and more solid that expected. The (German) craftsmanship is exemplary. It is still a little hard to open as the seals are still very new. The only thing that could be improved is that the open case is a little tip heavy to the back. Other than that, the case is beautiful and carries very easy. Strongly recommend this case.

    My 4th Gewa case

I have two Gewa Air, which are wonderful, but pricey. I keep two fiddles in those and feel they have maximum protection. I have a third fiddle which was cheap, a flax shell for about$100. I sar this Pure and wondered how at less than half the price of an Air, it would compare. I've only had it a couple weeks, but it seems very comparable. I don't think someone stepping on it would harm the fiddle, but will keep that test hypothetical. Perhaps the Air would offer more protection from being run over by a car, but I'll eschew that test. To me, the Pure is a big step up from the flax model, and for a reasonable price.
