    Lightweight but too small

    This case was really nice quality and lightweight, however because of the bars on the side of my violin that hold my chinrest, my violin wouldn’t smoothly fit in the mold for it. Maybe my chinrest is different than others.

    A Great Violin case!!:-)

    This violin case has class as well as meeting my practical needs. I wanted a case that was quite light weight (I'm getting up there...) that had ample music storage, ( I live where it rains a lot..) and that had a nice sized built in storage compartment. This case met all of my requirements. The interior is simple but nicely elegant and it comes with a protective silk blanket. The seatbelt is a pair of leather ties. The backpack straps are very comfortable. I am very pleased with this case.

    Very nice case, but...

    I wanted a lightweight case, and this fills the bill! I have two concerns, though. A piece of velour that’s glued to one of the bow holders has come off - for a relatively expensive case, that’s disappointing. And I can’t figure out exactly what to do with the thin synthetic straps that I assume are supposed to hold the instrument in place. Instructions, please?
