Pedi NiteFlash Oblong Viola Case Blue

I am very happy with my new case in every way, but I do have one complaint. The music pocket being on the bottom of the case has proven to be a bit of a pain. I think the purpose was to keep the case from tipping backwards, but I have found that with any more just a couple of pages worth of music it tips over anyway, being pushed up from the bottom. Also, if you unpack and then realize you need something from the pocket, it’s a bit a process getting to it rather than just reaching in with one hand while holding viola with other, as is the norm. Otherwise, great case.

Very well-made case that cradles my viola. Lightweight, and I feel that I could drive a car over it and my viola would survive. (I'm not going to test this!) Minor quibbles: less storage than my old case; dual handles (a wrap that joins them would be an improvement); pocket for music is on the underside of the case, so it is awkward if you have opened the case and need to reach into that pocket.

Beautifully crafted, light, and easily managed. My only complaint is that my 16 1/2" viola is a really tight fit. If your instrument is larger choose another case.

My 16.5” viola fits snugly into the case, as do my shoulder rest and glasses in the open accessory space. Its light weight was my reson for choosing it, but its elegant design and careful use of every bit of space are impressive, as is its reasonable price. I’m neither a student nor a professional, but this case could serve well for either.
