Pedi Oblong Violin Case

The great thing about this case is its ability to convert to a comfortable backpack. The features are really premium- the way it floats the instrument and the smart cubbies for rosin, shoulder rest etc. it fits most shoulder rests inside- just not a bon musica.

I will be purchasing a new violin and wanted a reasonably priced case but with great protection. It exist with the Pedi NiteFlash Oblong Violin Case. I heard from violinist and viola players it was dependable case. So far I am impressed with the quality. To top it off I chase Olive!!

I purchased this case 2 years ago and left a 5 star review initially. After 2 years of use, though, it's wearing pretty fast.

The backpack straps are fraying badly, the handle for the case is coming un-stitched so the material inside that provides the handle's shape and structure keeps sliding out, and the screws that hold the cover for accessory pocket (inside the case) keep falling out.

I happily spent the money on this case with hopes that it would be a 20 year case like my previous old heavy, lifetime warranty, wooden oblong case. At this rate, the Pedi case will look pretty junky by the end of it's 2nd year of use. It's serviceable and I love how lightweight it is, but Pedi cut too many corners with their materials and now it feels like a cheap student level case.

A handsome, sturdy case that does what I need it to do. I am happy with my purchase. It was as nice as promised. It came well packed.
