The Tonareli shaped fiberglass viola cases are an affordable and stylish case to protect your prized instrument. Constructed of lightweight and durable fiberglass, the case is sealed when closed so your instrument is protected from both inclement weather and sudden temperature changes. The case has a new bow holder design to securely hold two bows. There is a removable accessory compartment for rosin, strings, mutes, cleaning cloth, etc. The case is equipped with wheels and a luggage handle for easy rolling. Each case comes with two shoulder straps and a viola blanket.

i have a really wide 16.5 inch viola and i was able to fit it in this case with some room to spare! the dimensions of the viola are:
upper bouts: 20.7cm
width inner bouts: 14.5cm
width lower bouts: 25.9cm
i like that the side support pillows are adjustable and so you can adjust it so it's enough support to be protective without squeezing the instrument.
i have one of the new performa shoulder rests, and it doesn't fit in the spot that was designed for shoulder rests. but i found a way to store underneath the viola and works well. i attached some photos to show how i placed it.

I have found this case to be easily adjustable to the size of my viola and very easy to use. It’s comfortable to carry on my back and has space for a shoulder rest/rosin/earplugs.

The weight of the case is evenly distributed and lighter compared to the traditional wooden ones. The instrument room and storage in the case is ample as well. It would be nice if the bow holders had a spinner lock instead of velcro.
I highly recommend the “cello-look” case for your viola. It is quite reasonably priced as well.

My son wanted a new viola case. He picked this one out as it was smaller than his current and a hard shell case. We ordered it a few days before Christmas, they emailed us to give a shipment update, which was very much appreciated.
The case is perfect, he loves it! It stays open so he can load everything in and has plenty of storage for everything he needs. Wonderful!
