Bam La Defense Contoured Viola Case

The shell of this case consists of three high-performance materials combined by Bam: ABS, Airex foam, and another type of ABS.

This combination creates a different level of protection and durability superior to many standard viola cases. To be specific, this is more temperature-resistant than carbon fiber cases (which heats up faster).

Important note: The aluminum exterior is just for aesthetics. It’s not actually made of aluminum shells. So you won’t have to worry about it being a metallic case that is known to absorb heat faster.

This case has a suspension system to keep your viola cushioned inside, preventing it from knocking against the hard exterior of the case. These are the cushions along the neck and lower bout of your viola.

If you drop your case, the cushions absorb the shock, not your viola!

Designed with an adjustable neck cushion, this case can fit violas from 15.5 to 16.5 inches. Meaning, that you can customize the perfect fit and security of your viola.

The case includes two water-resistant, padded neoprene backpack straps.

A standout feature of this case is the positioning of the D-rings, which are on the sides instead of the back. This design creates extra space between the shoulders when carried as a backpack, enhancing comfort.

It eliminates the discomfort caused by traditional V-shape design, where the straps meet at a single D-ring behind the neck.
