The case is both sturdy and stylish; however, it does not provide enough space for the shoulder rest.

Quick Specs
The Bam Hightech Contoured violin case is perfect for violinists who want to arrive at their rehearsals and performances with a sleek & modern-looking case, but also ensure maximum protection of their violin.
This case comes with Bam’s signature Hightech patented protection, made of a triple-ply structure: ABS, injected solid polyurethane foam, and a thermoplastic layer.
This combination makes it stronger and more heat-resistant than many other hardshell cases. Its strength is comparable to that of a carbon fiber case but handles temperature much better, as carbon fiber heats up more quickly.
This case is only 3.5 lbs. Making it one of the lightest violin cases you can find.
This is very important to note! Many cases might boast their weight under 4 lbs. But those cases could be made of foam, or they may be using paper-thing hardshell materials.
Think of this analogy. An Apple MacBook is made of aluminum, but so is a Pepsi can. Just because a $200 violin case says it’s made of carbon fiber, doesn’t mean they’re using high quality or 100% carbon fiber (if they did, the case wouldn’t be $200!).
This contoured case comes with a removable accessory pouch for your essentials, such as pencils, cleaning cloths, rosin, polishes, and cleaners, allowing you to conveniently carry it to your music stand.
This case features 2 padded neoprene backpack straps and D-rings on the sides of the case.
Bam specifically designed this case to have the D-rings along the sides, in order to provide more space between the straps when carrying on your shoulders.
Most cases only have 1 D-ring on the back of the case to secure both straps. This forms an upside-down V-shape on the back of the case. However, this setup won’t be as comfortable to carry, especially for musicians with wider shoulders.
