Gewa Pure 1.8 Violin Case

It handles the essentials, including space for multiple bows and handling both my shoulder rests. With that said, it lacks a small pocket for things like mutes, string protectors, spare fine tuners, peg dope, etc. that probably shouldn't mix with the strings, shoulder rests, and rosin. My nearly 30 year old foam case had two small pockets in a slightly smaller total package, and the Gewa Pure has some empty space in the corners near the scroll that could hold tiny accessories separate from the big stuff. The included external pocket works fine for an ipad and pedal, and while you're not putting a standard orchestra folder in there, you need your folder accessible in case of rain anyway. I can't comment on humidity regulation, because I usually left my old case halfway unzipped to even out humidity changes anyway.

This is a good looking and top quality case.

Case is very lightweight. I love that I also like the backpack straps for it.

Plenty of space inside for Bon Musica shoulder rest, and pouch can fit all the other stuff I keep in my case.

The music folder is quiet small, I removed it. I assumed it would be too small for the orchestra folder, so I wasn't disappointed

We are very pleased with this case we purchased for our son. The case pads the violin extremely well and the outer shell is quite solid and durable. Plenty of room to carry all of the "extras". Would definitely recommend this case.
