Bought this case for my daughter 10 months ago. Picked the red color so that she can ID the case during orchestra rehearsals and performances easily. The case is made of high quality materials. The violin is well protected and her Italian violin fits right in. We looked at many cases before purchasing this one, and it did not disappoint. As some reviewer stated, the music book pocket is small and at the bottom, and the case does not come with a blanket. We are aware of those before we made the purchase. One of the plastic turners (that secure the bow in place) came in loose. I e-mailed the BAM regional office, and I received 2 replacements in 2 days. Good customer service!
Great, sturdy case. It fits a Bon Musica shoulder rest which is a big plus for me as that's my primary shoulder piece. A little hefty if you're purchasing for a kid but it comes with backpack straps which could help relieve the weight a little.
I have been playing violin for a long time and I've had the same case for a long time as well so I decided to give this one a try. It was supposed to arrive tomorrow, but they delivered it faster! It's soft on the inside and exactly as pictured in the photo. It only holds two bows though, which is fine for me but other people might consider that to be a problem, and it does not include a violin cloth or blanket. Other than that, it is not very heavy and I simply love it!
My older Bam case was heavy and tilted backwards when I opened it. This one is problem free. I can even safely store my oversized shoulder rest in it.
