Like all the other double cases that are available, there is no place for shoulder rests-- you have to put them in the large pocket, where they are twisted and banged up as you carry the case around. And this case is heavy. The large side pocket has inside pockets but they are not the right size for the things that one needs to carry to gigs and sessions. All it would take is to make the case lightweight and 2-3 inches longer to allow for a shoulder rest inside the case.

I bought the double violin case to replace my 23 year old Bobelock double violin case. I am very happy with the quality and endurance of my old one, and the new one has the same roomy interior with 3 small interior pockets for rosin, cloths and maintenance equipment. Other brands just don’t have as much room and protection.
