Quick Specs
B1062FBLS-1-PIBK
The Bobelock 1062 violin case is known for its fun and unique design, while still offering top-notch protection and durability. It’s a great choice for musicians who want a good looking case without sacrificing protection.
This case stands out in a sea of violin cases because of its unique cello-inspired shape.
But it’s not all looks. This design also allows for more space under the instrument for a shoulder rest and accessories. This makes it a great option for musicians that want a slimmer case (compared to the oblong cases), while still having space for their shoulder rest and accessories.
The case comes with a free black nylon travel cover—something you won’t find with most violin cases.
Not only does this cover do a great job of protecting your case from scratches and wear, it also features a zippered compartment for storing your sheet music, iPads and more.
The case is built with a fiberglass shell that offers excellent protection for your violin.
Fiberglass is a popular material for violin cases, but not all fiberglass cases are created equal. Some cheaper options may use less fiberglass in the shell, which can affect the level of protection.
Bobelock has been known for their high-quality fiberglass cases for decades, and with over 100 years of experience (since 1901), their reputation for exceptional quality stands the test of time, just like their products.
This case comes with a large removable accessories pouch that has plenty of room for pencils, rosin, cleaning cloths, and more—perfect for carrying all your essentials to your music stand.
The space also features a velcro strap for shoulder rest.

I ordered the red case, and it came in about 5 days later. So far, everything looks incredible and no weird smells or scuff marks; it also comes with a protective cloth and a travel bag for the case itself which is neat! Only problem is this case is advertised as a maroon-like red, but it’s much much brighter in real life. Not a huge enough difference to make me go through the whole process of exchanging, but definitely enough to make me feel like what was advertised isn’t what was sold. Anyway, if I remember, I’ll do an updated review in a few months to see how she holds up!

I love my new case and the protection and durability it provides.
The only reason it’s not a 5-Star rating is the need for just a little more room in the storage for the shoulder rest. Just another 1” would be wonderful!
