The Gewa Strato Deluxe violin case is one of the lightest wooden-framed suspension cases ever made! It features a teflon-coated screw attached cover. It has a very simple, yet elegant design. It features 4 bow holders and one very spacious accessory pocket. What makes this case deluxe is its plush velvet interior.

Pros: weight, nice-looking interior and nice finish; exterior music pocket; feels like violin is well-protected (especially for taking to/from school)
Cons: violin needs to be tied into place (I.e., not Velcro) which is a bit of a pain; compartment for shoulder rest is a little small but fits my Kun shoulder ready; rain flap seems to be protective (haven’t really tested it yet...) but gets in the way of the opening mechanism.
The cons are pretty minor and overall I’m really happy with the case!
