Gewa Varianta Viola Case

I searched high and low for a case for my new viola. I needed something that could accommodate smaller (15 3/4”) viola. I had hoped to find a compact, lightweight, adjustable case with bow spinners on the right and with a hinge strap so that the case would not flop open 180 degrees when open. I wish this case was a bit lighter, but it meets most of my needs and I also like the fact that it has a pocket for music on the outside. One way in which the case is oddly designed is the part that adjusts and meets the lower bout in the case is enormous and takes up a ton of space. I am able to get my Korfker shoulder rest in the case, but barely. A Bon Musica wouldn’t fit. If GEWA were to add anything to improve this case, I would suggest a subway strap.
