Jakob Winter Techleather Violin Case

I recieved this case in great condition and the color is exactly as pictured. I had to return the case because it was not high enough for my violin. I use a heightened Berber-model chin rest. When closed the roof of the case is pretty closely fitted and has a structure that seems to be built with a more traditional chin rest in mind. The shoulder rest area does not fit a BonMusica shoulder rest.

It's a shame I had to return it because otherwise it was exactly what I was looking for in a case! It was surprisingly light and sturdy with a nice looking exterior.

The case was a gift for my granddaughter, and she helped with the selection. Her violin fits nicely into the case. Also, there is room for the for the chin rest, bow, music , and other related items. Very pleased with the purchase.

Like this case a lot. Sturdy, great protection, quick and easy to open and close. Love the color. There’s room for a shoulder rest. Only Con is that I wish the rosin compartment was a little bigger. It’s a little pricey but certainly worth it. GVC shipped it right away and it got here fast. I always appreciate that kind of service.

The material looks and feels like real leather. Its light and compact , stylish and classy. I highly recommend this product to those who want a light and easy to clean case. Its worth every dollar!

The color Merlot was not my first choice, but it is good and I like it. A bit heavier than I thought.
