Molto Harmony Cello-Shaped Violin Case

Lots of thoughtful design features! My violin is a little on the large size, and it fits comfortably. I love that the music pocket can fit a 12.9" iPad AND a foot pedal, AND it's really comfortable on the back. I hope other case companies are taking note -- this should be the new standard.

The bow holders are interesting. I almost took a star off my rating, because it's really not clear at all how you should place the bow. But Olivia was very helpful when I asked for clarification. She even contacted the company with my questions. Seriously, she provided AWESOME customer service!

Now I did have one issue with the bows: if I place them the way the company said to, with the hair always facing the middle of the case, they don't fit quite right, and the stick ends up jammed against the top side of the case. In order to get it to fit nicely, I had to thread the frog-holder (the cloth bit with the magnet) between the hair and the stick, instead of looping it around the entire frog as recommended.

The case itself is quite light, it's smaller and easier to carry than an oblong case, and it has a very nice amount of storage for a shaped case. YES, Bon Musica shoulder rest fits nicely, and then there's still room for pencils, earplugs, rosin, strings, etc. Again -- this should be the new standard!

I really like the case. I bought it for a driving road trip to a bluegrass music camp. The drive was about 12 hours each way with 5 days at the camp. Then to a music festival on the way back. The case worked very well. It is compact, but I was able to get all I needed into the case. It is very durable and sturdy. Handled all the rough handling of road travel. It also has a nice large pouch on the 'back' of the case that is intended for sheet music. I used the pouch to carry my iPad pro. I liked having the pouch next to my back when using the case as a 'backpack'. I felt it kept the iPad more protected. The customer service, specifically Olivia, was FANTASTIC!! I ordered a different case originally and it wasn't going to ship in time, so Olivia contacted me and worked on getting this alternative case. It couldn't have worked out better.
