Molto Neo Shaped Viola Case

A very sturdy case that fits my son’s viola perfectly. A beautiful dark blue that he really likes! His shoulder rest fits nicely with a Velcro strap so it doesn’t hit his pegs and the neck of the viola is secured as well. There is also a pouch to hold little things like a mute and rosin. It also came with a top dust cover. Was hoping to fit one more now but I guess two is enough.

This case is perfect for everything I needed. Such a great upgrade from my previous (heavy) case. And a great price point!

I love my new Molto Neo Viola Case! It’s super lightweight yet feels very sturdy. The adjustable neck cushion fits my viola perfectly, and the wider shape means my Bon Musica shoulder rest finally has its own space without squeezing. The sleek polycarbonate shell looks modern and protects well, plus it’s easy to carry with the backpack straps. Definitely one of the best lightweight viola cases I’ve owned. 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡

The case is so pretty and so lightweight, I barely notice it on my back while walking around. The velcro that goes around your instrument’s neck is very strong and definitely holds it in place.

But, for a $500 I expect it to be better at handling weather. Whenever I’m driving around with my instrument in my trunk on a hot day, it lets the heat seep in and my viola is warm whenever I open it next. It also has practically no space for storage. I can’t even fit an extra pair of strings inside the pouch, only my rosin and some hand sanitizer. The carbon fiber also makes it really hard to clean smudges and dirt since it gets stuck in the crack.

But, not everybody has $1000 to spend on a Bam so this isn’t a bad second choice. It’s a very very pretty case.
