A Violin Case With Backpack Straps
Unlike most violin cases, the Pedi case features actual backpack straps, instead of shoulder straps that you attach via D-rings.
This makes the case much more comfortable to carry. The backpack straps, along with the back of the case features breathable mesh paddings.
And the space between the straps is shoulder width. Many violin cases feature a V-strap design that is secured by D-rings. What that means though, is that you've got D-rings dangling right behind your neck. And if you've got wider shoulders, the V-strap design may feel tight along the back of your shoulders.
The straps are also retractable. So you can easily put them away, if you don't want the straps dangling around.

These are paddings strategically placed along the lower bout and neck of the violin. If you drop the case, the paddings absorb the shock.
Expandable Sheet Music Pouch
store your sheet music along the backside of the case. This is also strategically designed so when you open the case, the bottom half stays balanced. Some violin cases feature sheet music pouches on the top of the case. But if you have a lot of sheet music, this makes the case top heavy. Making it dangerous when opening the case (it could do a backflip on you, causing your violin to fall out).

Well-designed lightweight case
This Pedi case was perfect for my wife's new-to-her beautiful Andrew Botti violin . Protects the instrument all around with floating support. Music case on the bottom provides great balance when the case is open as opposed to top-heavy cases that mount the music on top. Very light but very strong. Well-designed, wide mounted shoulder straps hide under the music folder when not in use. Beautiful quality materials throughout. Would work well for students through pros. Only thing lacking is a lock, but you could put a small lock on the zipper pulls.

Perfect balance
The great thing about this case is its ability to convert to a comfortable backpack. The features are really premium- the way it floats the instrument and the smart cubbies for rosin, shoulder rest etc. it fits most shoulder rests inside- just not a bon musica.

New case
I will be purchasing a new violin and wanted a reasonably priced case but with great protection. It exist with the Pedi NiteFlash Oblong Violin Case. I heard from violinist and viola players it was dependable case. So far I am impressed with the quality. To top it off I chase Olive!!
