Bam Classic Violin Viola Double Case

Pros:

-Hardware such as Zippers, Velcro, leather handles, straps, and bow latches feel great.

-Although bulky, the backpack straps are very comfortable.

Cons:

-The viola part only fits a 16inch viola with a small lower bout, if you play a larger viola, there is no option to adjust the case. Luckily, I have a 16inch viola so this is not an issue for me.

-The outside material can get linty with particular clothing/pet hair.

-I wish there was more of a compartment for small accessories: rosin, cloths, etc.

The case is sturdy yet not too heavy. It makes it more convenient for me to haul both instruments for teaching, gigs, travel, etc. I walk 20 minutes to work each way with it and it's not too heavy. Just a bit bulky but thats to be expected. There isn't a lot of storage room inside for shoulder rests, mutes, etc. But I just put my shoulder rest in the outside pocket, which has stretched the canvas a bit, but it seems thats the best place for it. There is a small area inside the case where my rosin fits. My 15.5 inch viola fits pretty securely in the case without jostling around too much. I originally ordered the green case, but after I paid for it I got an email saying that the green was out of stock and that I could either back order it for a few months or swap it for blue. I chose to swap it for blue and the case arrived within a few days.

The violin and viola fit perfectly, and it is a great case when flying.
