Bam St. Germain Shaped Violin Case

I really like this well-designed violin case, BAM St. Germain Shaped. It is lightweight, has a pocket for the shoulder rest on the outside (which is also convenient if you forgot to put, say, your ear protection in the case), an interesting place to put sheet music (I still need to really try it), and the violin feels very secure in it. There are only two small things I would change: 1.) the case doesn't stay open by itself - maybe allow it lie flat? 2.) The compartment pocket is inconvenient for me, and a little awkward to open. You have to take it out to open it. Overall, a great case! I'm keeping it.

I did a lot of research on Bam cases before buying one. I was hesitant because I read in other reviews that some people had a hard time fitting their Kun shoulder rest into the exterior pocket. However, mine fits just fine. And I really do love the case. I use the shoulder straps quite a bit to carry the violin on my back as I bicycle around town, and the straps are very comfortable and solid. It's a great purchase. I highly recommend. Also, Olivia was a big help in answering my many questions before I purchased.

Great case!

A huge leap up from my previous case which was falling apart, I really love the cushy backpack straps and how securely my violin fits in the case. Combined with the waterproof fabric (haven't tested it in the rain just yet but it does claim to be pretty weatherproof) I am thrilled to have something so easy to commute with. The music pocket expands, there is a pouch inside with room for rosin, tuner, etc., an exterior shoulder rest pocket which holds my kun rest perfectly, and two bow holders. The only downside with this case is it is a bit heavy.

Had this case for over a year. It is highly durable, compact and fun. Not the lightest case, but strong zippers and plenty of room for sheet music with the extended section. Really like the shoulder rest compartment too! Strap just broke, called BAM and they shipped me another one free of charge. Great case.
