Nice cello case
This is a good case and I'm mostly very satisfied with it. It is lightweight and has wheels that are sturdy if not used over rough terrain. My cello fits snugly and securely, and the side pads can be moved or removed to ensure the best fit for the instrument. The 3 handles are comfortable to use. The downside is that in order to help keep the weight down, the latches are made of very thin metal which means they could become misaligned if not careful. On the upside, I can open/close them with one hand. The latch containing the lock looks like it could also snap off if handled roughly. I had a lot of difficulty figuring out how to open the lock the first time. (Some instructions are included, but they could be improved, maybe with a diagram.) The magnetic bow holders are easy to use but, again, I had some trouble figuring out how to use them the first time. Overall, I would buy this case again. I think that if it is treated with care it will take care of your instrument. I was also impressed by Great Violin Cases service dept that I corresponded with several times before making my purchase.
