It's a much better than expected.....I used a similar case from the Amazon but this is a lot more quality build case than the third party ones ....

My son loves his new violin case. He attends orchestra rehearsals at school every day, so we needed something very resistant. He ruined his former case quite fast, and I didn’t want anything to happen to the (nice for a fractional) violin inside. The case looks very professional, it has lots of space to store everything, and we love the compact half moon design. The only thing wr don’t like that much is it’s quite heavy. But overall great purchase! We’ll be back for the ¾ size when the time comes.
Still have and use daily for over a year (adult). I would definitely buy again. I carry it to gigs and with me on my motorcycle. I personally have had NO problems or complaints at all. LOVE IT!
